Feminist Foreign Policy public webinars

The Feminist Foreign Policy Working Group is organizing two public webinars on Wednesday, November 18 from 12:00-1:30pm EST and from 7:00-8:30pm EST.

The webinar will be the same at both times, so please register for only one.

Simultaneous English/French interpretation will be provided. 

The deadline to register is Tuesday, November 17 at 7pm EST.

Virtual Film Screening: Monday, November 30th 12pm EST

Nobel Women’s Initiative is joining with the filmmakers of NASRIN for a virtual, online screening of the newly released documentary about the life and work of Nasrin Sotoudeh, Iranian human rights defender.

NASRIN is an immersive portrait of one of the world’s most courageous human rights activists and political prisoners, Nasrin Sotoudeh — and of Iran’s remarkably resilient women’s rights movement. It was filmed in Iran by women and men who risked arrest to make this extraordinary documentary. 

After the film there will be a live panel discussionfeaturing the filmmaker Jeff Kaufman, Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi, and Iranian activist Maryam Shafipour. The panel will be moderated by international human rights lawyer, Amanda Ghahremani.
