WPSN-C’s mandate includes promoting and monitoring the efforts of the Government of Canada to implement and support the United Nations Security Council Resolutions on women, peace and security. This work encompasses Canada’s National Action Plan on WPS (CNAP), the WPS Advisory Group that the Network co-chairs with Global Affairs Canada, the Office of the Ambassador for Women, Peace and Security, and work with other federal departments that are signatories to the CNAP.
