Since 2014, WPSN-C has hosted blog series’ with contributions from members organized around specific themes.
Although the blog posts are still available in the blog section of the website, the posts from each series have been gathered together.
Ahead of the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict in June 2014, WPSN-C ran a blog series called “Time to Act”.
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.
WPSN-C has organized blog series around 16 Days twice, in 2014 and 2017.
A blog series ran in March 2015 to mark International Women’s Day.
In October 2015, in the wake of the 15th anniversary of the United Nation’s Security Council Resolution 1325 (UNSCR 1325), as well as the 5th anniversary of the release of Canada’s National Action Plan (C-NAP) to implement UNSCR 1325, WPSN-C ran a blog series called Keeping 1325 Alive.
From September to December 2019, WPSN-C published a series of blog posts offering wide-ranging advice to the incoming government, during and after the federal election campaign.
