The women, peace and security study undertaken by the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development (FAAE) has been completed and the resulting report is expected to be completed by the time the House of Commons rises for the summer.
The Committee heard from twenty-eight witnesses over two months.
While we wait for the Committee’s report, WPSN-C will be sharing some of submissions that were made to the Committee.
Here are links to the submissions from WPSN-C and Inter Pres:
- WPSN-C’s brief, along with recommendations
- Inter Pares’ submission (Inter Pares also submitted an annex “Security, Peace and Justice for Women” in Spanish but with an English executive summary on pages 66-85)
