WPSN-C Steering Committee member, Jo-Ann Rodrigues, empowers women and men by building conflict resolution skills in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Jo-Ann Rodrigues is a Gender Equality and Conflict Resolution Consultant who has worked with UN agencies and NGOs in Canada and abroad. Having worked at both grassroots and international levels, Jo has an intimate understanding of challenges faced by women in the global South.
Through her work, Jo aims to empower women and men with conflict resolution skills to transform conflict into peace-building and to eliminate sexual and gender-based violence. She offers training, facilitation, coaching, mediation, research and analysis, as well as project implementation services, and has specialized knowledge in women, peace and security, SGBV, conflict resolution and intercultural dialogue.
